《辋川别业二十首》
1. 卧游庐
行到水穷处，
坐看云起时。
(I walk until the stream ends, then sit and watch clouds rise.)
2. 终南别业
中岁颇好道，
晚家南山陲。
(In middle age I turned to the Way,
and settled by the southern mountain.)
3. 辋川闲居赠裴秀才迪
寒山转苍翠，
秋水日潺湲。
(Cold mountains turn dark green; autumn waters flow gently.)
4. 木兰柴
秋山敛余照，
飞鸟逐前侣。
(Autumn hills gather fading light; flying birds chase their mates.)
5. 辋川别业
寂寞掩柴扉，
苍茫对落晖。
(Silent, I close the wooden gate, facing the vast setting sun.)
6. 鹿柴
空山不见人，
但闻人语响。
(Empty hills — no one in sight, only the echo of voices.)
7. 鸡栖埭
柴门闻犬吠，
风雪夜归人。
(From my gate I hear dogs bark — a man returns through wind and snow.)
8. 竹里馆
独坐幽篁里，
弹琴复长啸。
(Alone in a bamboo grove, I play the zither, then whistle long.)
9. 山中
荆溪白石出，
天寒红叶稀。
(From the clear stream white stones appear; red leaves sparse in cold air.)
10. 栎园
芳草无人径，
深林何处钟。
(Fragrant grass covers untrodden paths; from deep woods comes a bell.)
11. 柳浪
分行接绮陌，
一种间幽径。
(Willows line the patterned paths; their shade fills quiet trails.)
12. 华子冈
飞鸟去不穷，
连山复秋色。
(Birds fly endlessly away; mountains merge into autumn colors.)
13. 南垞
轻舟已过万重山。
(The light boat has passed ten thousand hills.)
14. 北垞
漠漠水田飞白鹭，
阴阴夏木啭黄鹂。
(Over misty rice fields fly egrets; under leafy summer trees sing orioles.)
15. 辋川积雨作
积雨空林烟火迟，
蒸藜炊黍饷东菑。
(After long rain, smoke rises slowly through the empty woods;
steaming goosefoot and millet — food for the eastern fields.)
16. 辋川别业答裴秀才
日暮苍山远，
天寒白屋贫。
(At sunset, dark hills far away; in the cold sky, a poor white hut.)
17. 竹下残雪
草堂春睡足，
窗外日迟迟。
(In my thatched hut I’ve slept through spring; sunlight lingers outside the window.)
18. 新晴野望
新晴原野旷，
极目无氛埃。
(After rain, the fields open wide; to the horizon — no trace of dust.)
19. 渭川田家
斜阳照墟落，
穷巷牛羊归。
(Slanting sunlight warms the hamlet; down poor lanes, cattle and sheep return.)
20. 山居秋暝
空山新雨后，
天气晚来秋。
(After rain, the empty hills — evening air turns to autumn.)
